    • Terrie Lea Slay entered into eternal life October 4th, 2008. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harold D. Slay May 20, 1946 in Cuero, Texas. Terrie created a wonderfully full life for herself in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She was a founding member of the Mastery in Life Center of Religious Science and a deeply respected member of the community. After raising two children she attended New Mexico State University and obtained a dual bachelorette in Psychology and Social Work as a Crimson Scholar. She retired from social work for the state of New Mexico in 2005 after years of faithful service.

      She is survived by her daughter Allison D. Zepeda and husband James "Zak" Davis Jr., son Jimmie J. and wife Kimberly Zepeda, sisters Penny and husband Gene Gonzales, and Linda Slay, brother Richard Slay, four grandchildren Jessica, Katherine, Brandon and James, and many other adored family and friends.

      Known by many and loved by all; she will be greatly missed.

      Memorial service will be held Wednesday October 8th, 2008, from 7pm - 9pm at The Mastery in Life Center of Religious Science, 575 N. Main, Las Cruces, NM 88001
