    • Rosie L. (Rose) Everette Kittrell, 82, passed away at her home in Vernal Community on Friday, June 28, 2019. She was a member of the Vernal Presbyterian Church. She loved flower gardening, fishing, and cooking for her family. For over 29 years, she worked as a cafeteria worker in Leakesville. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

      She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, John Neal (Buddy) Kittrell; daughter, Debbie Shawn Kittrell; son-in-law, Emile Robicheaux; and her parents, Earnest Everette and Lillie Mae Walley Everette.

      Left to cherish her memories are her children, Joe Kittrell (Gwen), Terry Kittrell (Angie), and Barbara Robicheaux; grandchildren, Heather Kittrell, Tara Mayo (Tommy), Joey Kittrell (Meagan) and T.J. Kittrell (Autumn); 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Doc Everette (Martha) and Donald Everett (Rita); nieces, nephews, and friends.

      The Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with a visitation prior to the service beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will be held in the Kittrell McInnis Cemetery with Bro. Phillip Williams and Bro. John Henry officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.freemanleakesville.com.
